  • Freeze on interaction

When I interact with the plugin on the admin page by pressing buttons, the website freezes. The browser itself is still responsive.
This reminds me of this case: https://community.blog2social.com/fo...-borlabs-cache

However, the operability is not restored by a new click and I could not, at least by my own efforts, establish a connection with a cache plugin (in my case: Litespeed).

Blog2social did not have these problems in the free version.
I noticed the problem after upgrading to Smart.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

    Update:
Apparently the buttons accept the click.
For example, if I repeatedly click on templates, the button gets the focus. But does nothing.
However, the button next to it, Connect network, is executed.

    Update:
I looked for clues on the Kiwi browser developer console. When I open the network settings page, there are references in the console to a series of eventlisteners that run on colouris.min.js?ver=820:6 and jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2. This seems to be independent of b2s.

In the troubleshooter 4 hints appear, all of which refer to b2s and criticise the fact that no labels are assigned to elements.

If I now click on a button (e.g. Edit template), a further 10 messages appear. Also all b2s. ID or NAME are missing on elements.

Repeated clicking increases the first hint by 2 and the second hint by 6.

I can't work out whether this is a lead to the solution.

    Hello Kay Helena,

    Thank you for reaching out.

As far as I understand some buttons in Blog2Social do not work properly on your end, is that correct?
When checking the list of your installed plugins I noticed that you’re using the plugin “Buy Me a Coffee” which has caused issues for other Blog2Social users as well since it overwrites some css files in Blog2Social.

Kindly deactivate this plugin and try once again if it’s working properly.

If you are still facing these issues afterwards, I could imagine that this is caused by another plugin or theme on your website.
An easy way to check if another plugin is causing issues on your website is to use the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin from WordPress. This plugin is intended for such cases and will perform a number of checks on your WordPress installation to detect common configuration errors and known issues, and also allows plugins and themes to add their own checks.
With the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin you can simulate to deactivate all plugins except Blog2Social and activate one after the other to see which plugin is causing this.

Please let me know if it worked out or if you have any other questions.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

Deactivating "Buy me a coffee" did the job.
