Possible to use the [content] as an [excerpt] in a post template ?

my question:
Possible using the [content] but being it cutoff at the [more] tag in the post.

Little background: a site with 90k posts, that have not used the excerpt field.

Thank you so much for reaching out. Yes, this would be possible if your WordPress template uses a specific amount of characters before it shows the read more button on the blog view of your site. You could limit the used characters amount for [content] corresponding with the character amount that is shown on your site before the [more] tag. Please follow this path to be able to do these specific changes:


Your WordPress installation > Blog2Social plugin > Networks > Next to the desired network, click on the “Edit post template” button.


Apply adjustments to the area shown in the screenshot below:




Please note that a paid subscription plan is required to use the Network-Templates feature.
