  • Posts are not sharing automatically

My posts are not sharing automatically. I have attempted to use both the instant and the 3-minute delay settings, but neither configuration is functioning as expected. Consequently, I am required to manually share all my content across my social media platforms. Could you please assist in resolving this issue?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

As far as I understand, you want to share your WordPress posts automatically via the auto-post feature in Blog2Social, is that correct?

There are two different sets of settings in the auto-poster:
The first auto-poster is triggered when clicking on “Publish” / “Schedule” in your WordPress backend post editor.
How do I auto-post and auto-schedule blog posts on Social Media with the Auto-Poster?

The auto-poster for imported posts is triggered via the WordPress hook "transition_post_status" when your posts are created by other plugins or RSS feeds.
How to auto-post imported RSS feeds and blog posts on Social Media

In both cases it’s necessary to activate and set up the specific WordPress user which creates these posts since Blog2Social works WordPress user-based. Therefore, please ensure that every WordPress user (author) who publishes posts that should be auto-posted:
    1. is activated for Blog2Social Premium (How do I activate my license key?)
    2. has the networks connected (Blog2Social -> Networks)
    3. has the auto-poster settings configured.

Please let me know if it worked out.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

I tried as per your guidelines but did not work. Is there any thing related with AI ? somting like : Blog posting on social media is controlled by AI, it check the content of the post and the AI decided what would be the best time per social media to post the article ?

        Hello,

        Thank you for your response.

Please answer the following questions so I can support you more effectively:
        1) Is it correct that these are your own WordPress posts or are you importing posts to your website (e.g., via other plugins)?
        2) How exactly do you proceed when publishing your posts?
        3) Are there different users or authors on your website who create your posts?
        4) Do you receive notifications about unpublished posts?
        5) Is it possible that you scheduled the posts in WordPress before activating the auto-poster?

I’d also recommend checking this video.

        Regarding your question:
You can specify the time when your posts are shared via the auto-poster under “Select to auto-post immediately after publishing or with a delay” in your screenshot.

I’m looking forward to your reply.

        Best regards

        Benedikt

          Hello,
Here is the answer to your questions:

          1) Is it correct that these are your own WordPress posts or are you importing posts to your website (e.g., via other plugins)?
          -- My own WordPress posts.

          2) How exactly do you proceed when publishing your posts?

          Login to your WordPress dashboard.
Go to Posts > Add New.
Enter a title and write of my content.
Add images if needed (via "Add Media").
Choose a category and add tags.
          Set a featured image (optional).
Preview the post if you want.

Then I do check as per the image attached for social media post using your plugins

          Click Publish.

          3) Are there different users or authors on your website who create your posts?

          Yes

          4) Do you receive notifications about unpublished posts?
          No

          5) Is it possible that you scheduled the posts in WordPress before activating the auto-poster?
I did try this, but it's not working either way

            Hello,

            Thanks for your reply.

Currently, you have activated one user with your license key which means if other users do create posts on your website, they won’t be automatically shared via auto-poster.
It’s necessary to activate and set up the specific WordPress user which creates the posts because Blog2Social works WordPress user-based.

Kindly make sure that every WordPress user (author) who needs their posts to be auto-published via auto-poster meets the following requirements:
            1) Blog2Social Premium is activated for their WordPress account.
            2) Social media networks are connected (Blog2Social -> Networks).
            3) Auto-poster is configured.

I’ve also attached a screenshot of the “Publish” button in the WordPress post editor that triggers the auto-poster.

            Best regards

            Benedikt
