  • unwanted autoposted multiple times

Hi, with my most recent posting I experienced Blog2Social autoposting it to the networks multiple times within just minutes (4x, at publishing time plus 3 minutes, 13 minutes and 16 minutes after publishing). How can I troubleshoot this? I haven't made any changes to my settings, and they're set to autopost just once immediately after publishing.
    Thanks and kind regards
    Franz

    Hello Franz,

    Thanks for contacting us.

There can be various reasons for this. For example, I could imagine that you checked the box for “updated posts”. In that case, the post would be reposted every time it gets updated. Please refer to the troubleshooting steps in this guide:
Why are my Posts shared multiple times on Social Media?

Feel free to let me know if it worked out or if you have any other questions.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

PS: Sie können uns auch gerne auf deutsch kontaktieren.

      Hi Benedikt,

I did read Troubleshooting Guide, but it didn't explain my issue as I neither had the networks set up multiple times nor did I have the updated posts or apply re-post options active. But as for now it happened only for one specific post and the issue didn't resurface for the next two posts I did since then, I assume it's difficult to figure out what exactly happened. I'll keep an eye on it and see whether it will happen again - or hopefully not ;-)

      Kind regards
      Franz

P.S.: I continue in English for not changing language in the middle of the thread.

    Hello Franz,

    Thanks for your feedback.

You’re absolutely right — since the issue only occurred with one specific post and hasn’t reappeared with your recent ones, it might be difficult to pinpoint the exact cause. It’s possible that it was a temporary issue, perhaps even related to your website’s performance at that particular time.

Please feel free to reach out to us again if you notice the issue happening again.

    Best regards

    Benedikt
