  • Autopost without the URL nor the photo on LinkedIn

    Hi,

I have setup the autopost on my LinkedIn page so that when I post an article on my blog it is autoshared on LinkedIn with the photo of the article and the URL.

Most of the time it works. But on some instance (like 30% of the time), it only shares the title, the excerpt of the article but neither the image nor the URL. Still I have set it up as it should be.

Am I the only one with this issue ? What should I do so it works fine all the time ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Louis

        Hello Louis,

        Thanks for your response.

Are you using the auto-poster for your own original WordPress posts or are you using the one for imported posts?
I’ve also noticed that there are five users activated with your license key. Does this behavior affect all users or just a specific one?

Additionally, while checking your website, I observed that it takes a significant amount of time to process data. When attempting to access this post, I encountered a time-out error (screenshot attached).
Please note: If your website does not meet the system requirements, this can lead to various issues for any system or platform trying to communicate with it.

Therefore, I recommend to improve your website’s performance with your webmaster so that Blog2Social can function properly.

Please let me know if it works out afterwards.

        Best regards

        Benedikt

          Hi Benedikt,

We checked and we meet the required data. Sometimes we can have hard time to process by afflux of users, but at the end of the day the website is stable.

          To answer your questions :
          • This behaviour affect all users,
          • and it is about our own original posts, no import.
Thanks in advance for your help,

          Best,
          Louis

            Hello Louis,

            Thank you for your reply.

Since you only observe this behaviour in a few cases and there are currently no comparable cases, I believe that it is related to the performance of your website. I checked it again and obtained this result (screenshot attached). You can check the performance of your website with this tool as well.

Please be aware that Blog2Social is installed on your website and it can lead to various issues if your website is too slow or unresponsive. Kindly try improving your website’s performance to determine if this resolves your issue.

            Best regards

            Benedikt

I will look into it, but as you were pointing it out, this behaviour is not consistent with any article nor any user, nor any time of posting.

That is why I'm concerned that the problem does not come from the performance of my website. I would be very surprised if I were the only one encountering this issue.

              Best regards,
              Louis

                Hello Louis,

                Thank you for your response.

Currently, there are no comparable cases reporting similar behavior. However, I would also recommend setting a delay of 5-10 minutes in the Auto-Poster settings. This can also help if your website is experiencing performance issues. Please note that you need to configure these settings individually for each of your WordPress users.

Feel free to let me know if it worked out or if you have any other questions.

                Best regards

                Benedikt
