Issue with auto-posting for new posts

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the automatic posting of new posts in Blog2Social. Although I have enabled the auto-posting option in the plugin settings, new posts are not being shared automatically on social networks.

Here are the details:

1. Auto-posting is enabled in the global plugin settings.
2. Manual sharing works without any issues, and when I activate the auto-reposting option and edit an existing post, it successfully gets shared on social networks.
3. The issue occurs only with new posts – they are not auto-posted, even though the global settings are enabled for this feature.

Could you please assist me in enabling automatic posting by default for all new posts?

I could imagine that there’s a misunderstanding. Please be aware that there are no global settings since Blog2Social works WordPress user-based, which means that all settings and network connections can be defined for each WordPress user individually.

The first auto-poster is triggered when clicking on “Publish” / “Schedule” in your WordPress backend post editor.
How do I auto-post and auto-schedule my own blog posts on social media?

The auto-poster for imported posts is triggered when your posts are created by other plugins or RSS feeds.
How do I auto-post imported or created blog posts from other plugins on Social Media?

In both cases it’s necessary to activate and set up the specific WordPress user which creates these posts. Therefore, please make sure that every user (author of the post) who publishes posts that should be auto-posted:
1. is activated for Blog2Social Premium (How do I activate my license key?)
2. has the networks connected (Blog2Social -> Networks)
3. has the correct auto-post settings configured.

Thank you for your response and clarifications. I have conducted a few tests and would like to share the results, which may provide more clarity about where the issue lies.

1. Auto-posting for manually created posts: When I create a new post manually in WordPress, Blog2Social recognizes it and automatically activates the "The Autoposter is activated" option. In this case, the post is shared on social networks automatically, as expected. Therefore, auto-posting for manually created posts works without any issues.
2. Imported posts via Feedzy: The issue arises with posts that are automatically imported via the Feedzy plugin. The posts are created under my name (using the ?feed_author=1 setting), but Blog2Social does not trigger auto-posting for them. If I enable the auto-reposting option and edit the post, Blog2Social processes and shares it, indicating that the problem is likely related to recognizing imported posts.

Additionally, I have added the post type feedzy_imports in the Blog2Social settings, but this does not seem to resolve the issue.

From what I observe, it seems that Blog2Social does not recognize posts imported via Feedzy in the same way it recognizes manually created posts. The user under whose name the imported posts are published is the same (myself), and the Blog2Social license key is activated for this user.

Could you please assist or advise on how to configure Blog2Social so that imported posts are also auto-posted without requiring manual intervention?

Thanks for your reply.

I could imagine that your importing plugin (feedzy) is not using the WordPress hook "transition_post_status". Please note that it’s necessary to use this hook in order to trigger the auto-poster for imported posts in Blog2Social.
I'd recommend trying to use another plugin to create / import your posts or to contact the feedzy developers in order to find out if they're using this hook.
