  • Migrated to different Server - Stuck at 2 Social accounts in "Profile"

    Hello,

I migrated my WP site to a new server. I uninstalled the plugin and dropped all of the tables in the Database then reinstalled the plugin but am still unable to add more than 2 social accounts to my "Profile". The plugin simply will not save the networks after adding them over and over again. It will only save 2 of them. Is the Free version now limited to just 2 social accounts? What is very odd is after deactivating and deleting the plugin plus DB tables, when I reinstall the plugins, the data is still there for my networks... It's like the network data is still being stored somewhere and causing a conflict. I've disabled Cloudflare/Lightspeed and flushed the cache even.... I'm stuck with a broken plugin and I was going to even upgrade. I will not upgrade a plugin that doesn't function correctly.

Any advice before I remove the Blog2Social plugin?

    Thanks,

    Jim

    Hello Jim,

Thank you for reaching out and your interest in Blog2Social.

With the free version you can connect 2 Facebook accounts (one profile and one page) as well as one account per network for most of the other networks. Here you will find all features and supported networks of the different versions of Blog2Social:

Please be so kind as to send me a screen recording of how you proceed when adding your social media accounts in your Blog2Social “Networks” overview so I’m able to take a closer look.

I could imagine that this is caused due to migrating / copying your website on a new server. Is it possible that you had installed Blog2Social on the previous website as well?

I’m looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards

    Benedikt
