  • Pinterest Posting Was Working in WordPress, Then Stopped

As you can see from the subject line, I can't post to Pinterest. I have suddenly started receiving an erro message, "We don't have the permission to publish your post. Please check your authorization."

Tumblr hasn't changed. No problem with that.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

    Brian

    Hello Brian,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I would recommend trying to refresh your Pinterest authorization in Blog2Social as shown in this guide:
Solution: Your authorization has expired. Please reconnect your account in the Blog2Social network settings.

If you are still facing issues afterwards, please send me the link to your post on your website that you want to share so I can take a closer look.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

Thank you for your reply, Benedikt.

I went through the process of re-authorising Pinterest, which I did successfully. However, the "Connect Board" rectangle displayed in red remained and I still could not post to Pinterest.

      Regards,

      Brian

        Hello Brian,

        Thanks for your reply.

Please be so kind as to send me the link to your post on your website that you want to share so I can take a closer look.
It also would be great if you could attach a screenshot of your notification details in Blog2Social:
“Social Media Posts” -> “Notifications” -> “Details”

        Best regards

        Benedikt

            Hello Brian,

            Thanks for your response.

This behavior seems to be caused by your link / website since Pinterst does not allow posting your link. I would recommend checking the following tutorial to verify your website on Pinterest so you’re able to post your link:
Want to get Pinterest analytics for your WordPress site? Follow this easy tutorial on how to verify your WordPress site on Pinterest with Pinterest site verification.

Another workaround could be to remove your link in Blog2Social before posting to avoid issues.

Please let me know if it worked out or if you have further questions.

            Best regards

            Benedikt

              Hi Benedikt,

I just thought I'd update you.

Posting to Pinterest just started working for no apparent reason.

              Regards,

              Brian
