Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
To look into this further, it would be very helpful if you could attach a screenshot of your notification details, as well as the URL of the related WordPress post, so I can take a closer look:
“Social Media Posts” -> “Notifications” -> “Details”
I’m looking forward to your reply.
Best regards
Benedikt

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
It appears that your content (image and OG tags) is being protected or blocked by security settings or a firewall, as I am seeing the message “Establishing a secure connection” above your link. This could also be the reason why you are receiving that message when trying to post.
You mentioned in this thread that your images are stored in cloud storage and that you’re receiving this error for image posts:
Your post could not be posted, because your image is not available or the image source is not publish readable.
I’d recommend making sure that your images are available in your WordPress media library to avoid this.
Please try the following steps as well:
1) Update Blog2Social to the latest version 8.7.0. You can do so by clicking on “Plugins” -> “Installed Plugins”.
2) Refresh your Facebook authorization as explained in this guide.
3) Try sharing a new post on your Facebook page in Blog2Social.
If the issue persists, please attach a new screenshot of your latest notification details of the respective post.
Best regards

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
We’ve already noted your suggestion regarding Mastodon. As soon as there are any updates, we will of course let you know.
Could you clarify whether you’re using the auto-poster for your own posts or for imported posts?
Additionally, please refer to the suggestions I provided in my previous message and let me know which of them you have tried so far and what the results were.
Best regards
Benedikt

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, this still doesn’t answer my question regarding the Auto-Poster. Are you using the Auto-Poster for posts you create directly in WordPress, or for posts that are being imported?
This distinction is important because it depends on how posts are generated on your website. Please explain a little more in detail how your posts are created. It’s possible that the image is not yet available at the moment the Auto-Poster is triggered, which could be causing the error you’re seeing.
Additionally, you mentioned in this thread that your images are stored in a cloud storage service and that you’re facing image issues since then. I would recommend testing whether the issue persists when your images are stored directly in the WordPress media library.
Best regards
Benedikt

I don't think that it has nothing to do with that. Because I use the "link" format for fakebook (unless your plugin is not well developed).Originally posted by Blog2Social Support View PostHello,

Hello,
As far as I can see on your screenshot, which shows the Facebook notification, you have used image posts and not link posts.
However, you can also select link posts by default via your post templates. It is important to first click on "Page" and then select the “Link” format.
When sharing link posts, Blog2Social only passes your link to Facebook, and Facebook generates the image and the link preview from the so-called Open Graph Tags. However, it is still important that your image is accessible to Facebook so that it can be displayed.
Please let me know if this has worked or if you have any further questions.
Best regards
Benedikt
