  • The connection to the server failed. Please try again!

I am trying to post videos from my blog to Vimeo and Youtube. For small videos, no issues. However large ones, there will be an "error popped up, server connection failed."

I have reached out to my hosting provider and they have found : There are, however, no recorded errors in any of the local logs or the UltraFast PHP log, which may provide more information on why the error 500 occurs.

Is there any advice for me please? Thank you

    Hello Lawrence,

Thanks for reaching out and your interest in Blog2Social.

If this issue only occurs when sharing large videos, it might be due to the execution time or memory limit of your website being set too low.
Kindly increase your website's memory limit to 512M and your execution time to 400 and ensure that your website meets the system requirements.

Please let me know if it worked or if you have any other questions.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

thanks, that seems to have solved the problem. I do need to post to test it out.

      Also:

      1) any way to do Video Post Scheduling in 1 go? seems we can only schedule the video by clicking each channel and manually choosing

      2) I checked each network - "save as best time", but nothing happened. when i tried to do the next post, there is no fixed time saved.

      2) tiktok was working but now the app has stopped working, i get no notification that my video is ready to be edited. ?

        Hello,

Thank you for the update! I’m glad the issue seems to be resolved. Regarding your additional questions:
        1. Video Post Scheduling in One Go:
Currently, videos need to be scheduled individually for each network by selecting the time manually. We are working on improving the scheduling process to make it more streamlined in the future.
        2. “Save as Best Time” Feature:
We are investigating why the saved best times are not appearing for your next post. This should automatically apply after being set, and we’ll look into the issue to ensure it’s functioning as expected.
        3. TikTok Integration Issue:
We are investigating on this issue and actively working on resolving it. TikTok notifications should notify you when a video is ready for editing. If this isn’t happening, we’ll fix it promptly.

Thank you for bringing these points to our attention. Please feel free to test your posts and let us know if you encounter anything else—we’re here to help!

        Best regards,
        Philippe

            Hello Lawrence,

Thank you for your patience and detailed feedback.

            TikTok Integration
We are still actively testing the TikTok upload process to identify and resolve any issues. While refreshing the login was successful on your end, we’re investigating why posts might not appear as expected. We’ll update you as soon as we have more information.

            “Save as Best Time” Feature
In our testing, the “Save as Best Time” feature appears to work as intended, applying the saved times to all networks without impacting descriptions. To help us better understand the issue you’re facing, could you clarify what you mean?

This information will help us replicate and address any potential bugs.

We appreciate your cooperation and will work to ensure everything functions as smoothly as possible. Let us know if there’s anything else we can assist with!

            Best regards,
            Philippe

              1) any way to do Video Post Scheduling in 1 go? seems we can only schedule the video by clicking each channel and manually choosing. This is very painful to use, especially without no 2)

              2) I checked each network - "save as best time", but nothing happened. when i tried to do the next post, there is no fixed time saved. Havent been able to save the time.

              3) so i diligently scheduled a few video posts at once. nothing happened yesterday so when I went to check, there were numerous errors like session timed out, network unable to post. There is no easy way to reschedule e posts, and it meant I have to redo steps 1 to 2. I think the software is not really working for me, it seems i have to constantly monitor the calendar and also relogin to each network daily? Pls confirm.

                Hello Lawrence,

                Thanks for your reply.

Kindly try again posting on TikTok with Blog2Social. It should now work as intended.

                Regarding your questions:
                1) Did you see the option “Apply Settings To All Networks” below your posts? I have attached screenshot for you.
With this option, you can, for example, apply the set date and time to other networks without having to configure it for each individual network.

                2) Is it possible to attach a video of how you proceed so we can take a closer look?

                3) This might have been caused due to a problem with our SSL certificate. We solved it and Blog2Social is now working smoothly again.

                Best regards

                Benedikt

                  Thank you

                  1) Timings to be used for all networks is working but it means all posts are using the same time. And also each channel needs to be setup, per video. The "save as best time feature doesnt work for eg. if i saved 10pm for Facebook for post 1, i then start to schedule for post 2, the time is back to default, means i have to set up again for 10pm for Facebook for post 2.

                  2) As for the numerous log errors that occured, i can only try again to schedule to see if it works. it is the reworking that is tiresome, instead of saving time. i am creating more work for myself.

                    Thanks for your response.

Is it possible to attach a screen recording or screenshots of how you proceed when using the “Save best times feature” so we can take a closer look?
