    Hi, purchased and, I believe, connected the new X option to our X account, but when posting, it states that it is being processed by the network for a while saying...

    "X is currently being processed by the network​"

    Then fails, saying this:

    "X (Profile: UKDefJournal) Your network app does not have permission for this action. Please check your network app settings in your network developer portal.
    post format: Link Post | shared by [REDACTED BY ME] 2024/12/04 2:03 pm - Auto-Posting"

    It works when sharing without scheduling.

    Is there a rough guide on how to fix this?

    Further, on the failed post, the Networks section states " Connection is interrupted since 2024-12-04
    Profile: UKDefJournal (My profile)​"

    and the option to connect is still available.

      May I ask you if version 8.2.0 of Blog2Social is installed on your website?
      Did you reconnect your X profile after updating and purchasing the X add-on?

      If you keep facing this behavior, kindly tell me a little more in detail and with screenshots how you proceed in Blog2Social when sharing / scheduling your X posts.

        Thank you for your swift response.

        To clarify further:
        1. Version and Updates:
          • The Blog2Social plugin is updated to version 8.2.0 as you specified.
          • I have reconnected our X profile twice after updating and purchasing the X add-on, but the issue persists.
        2. Issue Details:
          • When scheduling posts for X, the "Shared Posts" screen initially displays the message:
            "X is currently being processed by the network", as shown.

          • After some time, this fails, and the error reads:
            "X (Profile: UKDefJournal) Your network app does not have permission for this action. Please check your network app settings in your network developer portal."

          • This issue only affects scheduled posts.
          • Manually sharing posts without scheduling works fine, the following screenshot shows the option I mean. When 'Share' is pressed in the below menu, it works fine to all platforms.

        3. Other Networks:
          • Scheduled posts work perfectly for Facebook and Bluesky, so this issue appears to be isolated to X.
        4. Connection Status:
          • Despite reconnecting the X profile, the Networks section shows the following after it fails to post, each time:
            "Connection is interrupted since 2024-12-04. Profile: UKDefJournal (My profile)".
        In summary, the issue arises when scheduling posts for X using Blog2Social; previously functional, the process now fails with the error: "Your network app does not have permission for this action. Please check your network app settings in your network developer portal." This problem emerged after implementing the new X add-on, despite the plugin being updated to version 8.2.0 and multiple reconnections of the X profile. Notably, manually sharing posts without scheduling operates correctly, and scheduled postings to other platforms like Facebook and Bluesky function without issues. The Networks section indicates the X connection as "interrupted" since December 4, with the option to reconnect still available.

        Could you advise further on what could be causing this behaviour? Is there a specific setting in the X developer portal we should check, or could this be an issue with how permissions are handled by the add-on?

          Now an update, X posts do seem now to be going through; I haven't made any changes, but they are significantly delayed. I will update you tomorrow after more behaviour is observed.

            Thank you for your detailed feedback.

            There was a short-term issue that has now been resolved. As a result, the posts that were marked as “is currently being processed by the network” are now gradually being shared.

            Please let me know if it continues to work or if you have any further questions.
