This feature is not available on blogger as well as some other networks such as Torial.

Is this an oversite or a technical limitation?

This is a limitation that is decided by each social media network individually.
This is no general technical site-wide limitation.

Some social media networks do allow recurring posts and duplicated/imported content and others don't allow it. As soon as a social media network in question does change its community rules Blog2Social will gladly adjust its configuration as soon as possible.
