  • unable to connect to Pinterest even with extension

    Hi
I tried just about everything and nothing works. From my admin i am asked to download the extension, i did that.
Using the extension it opens a window having nothing to do with Pinterest it's not even mentionned, It says "+ network" or "save to Blog2social" using my Blog2Social WebApp account ..
I have no idea what this account is, i am using the 30-days trial version before buying...

    Help!
    Tanks
    Lola

          hi
i dit what you suggest and there's no way to connect.
I tried on 3 differents sites, one connect but few minutes later it says the "connexion has been interrupted" and for the 2 others it keeps asking me over and over my usename and password...
I cleared the cache, deleted cookies etc. the usual whole package and it never works.
Believe me i tried everything... i have no trouble to connect to other networks and to my pinterests accounts directly from pinterest's site.
          Thanks

                          Hello Patricia,

Thank you for your reply and thanks for this feedback.

As already mentioned in the private conversation, the IT experts of Blog2Social adjusted the connection process. The occurring behavior in relation to your Pinterest account connection is likely related to your individual account and is no general issue or bug that is occurring in Blog2Social if you are still unable to authenticate your connection as expected after the fix. In multiple testing cases with clean Pinterest testing accounts, it was possible to connect them in Blog2Social with the Browser extension as intended.

Since this case seems to be individual and uncommon, would you please be so kind as to create a simple video screen recording of the process of connecting your Pinterest account, showing all steps and your process? You can provide us with this file via a private message in order to protect your privacy.

This would be helpful in order to be able to look further into this case for you.
Thank you for your effort and understanding.

I am looking forward to your reply.

                          Best regards
                          Alexander

                              Hello Patricia,

Thank you for your reply and thanks for this feedback.

In order to be able to follow your steps and see the behavior that is occurring for you, it would be awesome if you could create a simple video screen recording of the process of connecting your Pinterest account, showing all steps and your process.

It's ok to show the process until you face the “interrupted connection” notice.
You can also screenshot all steps if you prefer this instead of working with video recording.

Please also attach the following details:
                              • Date and time when you tried the connection process?
                              • Your location?
                              • Used Browser: Firefox or Chrome?
                              • Browser extension was used?

This information would be helpful in order to be able to look further into this case for you.

Thank you for your effort and understanding.
I am looking forward to your reply.

                              Best regards
