"Instant Sharing" glitch with instagram image posts

For months now I've been experiencing a glitch with instant sharing of images on Instagram.

If I choose to post an image to a collection of my respective networks (FB, IG, LIn, etc) it will not post to instagram.

If, however, I post the image only to Instagram - and not to other social media networks in the same "instant share" set-up, it works just fine.

So - basically, after the image fails to go to instagram, if I go back in under notifications I can choose to send only to instagram and it works just fine.

This issue does not come up when I auto-post --- Instagram images seem to go through just fine when I do that.

As I resent these posts individually, the notifications no longer exist. However, I know the message that we received was this generic one that wasn't terribly helpful:

"Your post could not be posted. More information in this Instagram troubleshoot checklist"

Thanks for your reply.

I could imagine that this behavior is caused on your website by a slow server and results in a server-side timeout of your website since I’m unable to reproduce it in a clean test environment.
Therefore, please be so kind as to check and, if necessary, increase your website's memory limit to 512M and your execution time to 400.

Those are my current limits.

What doesn't make sense to me: sending to instagram works just fine when "auto posting." The problem only occurs when I am "instant sharing" or setting up a "curated post."

It could be that with my auto-posts the respective social media sites are slightly staggered by time... (facebook goes at 10:00, Linked In at 10:15... etc) - perhaps this helps avoid the server time-outs? When I "instant share" I often just pick one time to send for all.

I’d also recommend making sure that your hoster does not limit the execution time for your website.

That could be a reason why auto-posting is working properly whereas instant sharing is causing a timeout.

If you keep facing this behavior, it would be great to send a screen recording of how you proceed so we are able to take a closer look.
