When trying to connect to Instagram, I fill in the login for Instagram, approve the request as stated but then nothing happens.

Would you please be so kind as to answer a few short questions so I could look further into this for you?
Have you confirmed a security code by email?
Or do you relate to the activity notification which should pop up in the Instagram App?
Have you checked within the Instagram App if there is a location notification that you can accept?
If you have entered the verification code but are still missing the activity notice please be so kind and login to Instagram with your Browser (pc/laptop or mobile dive) not the mobile app and go to "Settings" -> "Login Activity" and check if have a new entry/query.
