  • Issue with Google My Business

    I can instantly share a post to Google My Business via Blog2Social, but it doesn't work when it comes to scheduled sharing and automatic sharing, and it shows "We don't have the permission to publish your post. Please check your authorization."
    I've reconnected repeatedly and the problem is still there. Everything is OK when I share a post immediately to Google Business Profile​ at the same profile.

    How do you proceed when scheduling your Google Business posts in Blog2Social?
    Are you using the auto-poster for your own original WordPress posts or the auto-poster for imported posts?

    If your content was not posted, it would be great if you could send me a screenshot of your notification details. You will find notifications by following this path:
    “Social Media Posts” -> “Notifications” -> “Details”

    Please also send me a link to one of your posts where you are facing this notification.

            Hello,

            Thanks for your response.

            When checking your link I noticed that your image is in “webp” format (screenshot attached).
            Please be so kind as to make sure that your images are in “jpg” or “png” format to avoid issues when posting since “webp” images are not supported by each network.
            Why is my image not displayed in my social media posts?

              We have the same problem we also use webp, why is instant sharing possible with webp and automated not?

                Thank you for reaching out.

                I think this is a misunderstanding. Please note that some networks do not support “webp” images in general which is outside of our sphere of influence. Therefore, we can just recommend using “jpg” or “png” images to avoid issues.

                What do you mean by “why is instant sharing possible with webp and automated not”?
