  • Unable to connect to Facebook Page

So I linked my page to Blog2Social and it errored at the last step, but it created the link first?

My profile doesn't appear in the "People with Facebook Access" list because I created the page. There shouldn't be any need to create a new profile at all since other applications can do this, so I'm thinking there's a bug on Blog2Social more than anything else here.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If your Facebook profile is not listed below "People with Facebook access" in your page access, this is causing the error “We could not find a page related to your profile” that you’re mentioning.
Please be aware that the connection to Facebook pages is established via Facebook profile and that it’s necessary that your profile is listed in your page access. We're an officially licensed partner and use the official API interfaces for Facebook as well as all social media connections.

I’d recommend adding your profile in your page access in order to connect your Facebook page successfully.
I cannot connect my Facebook page / I cannot see my Facebook page

If you cannot add your own profile, I’d recommend adding another or new profile to establish the connection in Blog2Social. Of course, you could also try contacting Facebook regarding this matter since it’s outside of our sphere of influence.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

Why is it that Blog2Social is the only one that doesn't work then, every other plugin works for Facebook but seems to limit their options for other platforms so I don't see there being a need to create another profile when everywhere else, including places like Buffer and Hootsuite work fine for their connection.

So when you say it's outside your sphere of influence, that seems like you're laying the blame with Facebook instead of taking responsibility to find another solution as everyone else did.

        Hello,

        Thank you for your feedback.

Rest assured, we will check this once again and let you know if any other options become available in the future.
Currently, we can only recommend proceeding as described above, as the connection to your Facebook page is established via your Facebook profile.

        Best regards

        Benedikt

          Hello,

please be so kind as to try again connecting your Facebook page. Due to Facebook's latest changes regarding pages, we've adjusted some settings in the Blog2Social app on Facebook.

Please let me know if it worked out.

          Best regards

          Benedikt
