Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and thanks for describing your request.
If your social media post is not displaying the proper image or your image is missing this is most likely caused by missing or conflicting Open Graph tags.
Open Graph Tags ("og:tags") are one of the most important things to make your blog or website ready for social media. OG tags define how your link will be displayed on social media (containing your image, title and description).
I would suggest checking your website environment regarding Open Graph Tags and the plugins that are implementing them.
Make sure to only have one plugin insert these tags in your website source code at once as duplicated values can cause such an unintended behavior.
It is also possible that this behavior is caused by active security or optimization plugins in your WordPress environment or is caused by server sided firewall settings.
I would suggest to disable these plugins and settings temporarily in order to be able to determine which one is causing this in your environment.
The following step-by-step guide will show you how to solve common issues related to Open Graph settings:
Troubleshooting: Checklist and solutions for setting Open Graph Tags
When I post to Facebook, no image or the wrong image appears in my post. Why?
It is possible that something in your environment is blocking Blog2Social to receive the information from your Open Graph tags its likely that also social media networks will show wrong or missing post/link previews when sharing content on social media.
Once disabled you can try to re-enable these one by one again in order to detect what is the root origin of the unintended behavior.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions about Blog2Social.
Best regards
Alexander

Espace JEUX. Gefällt 1.926 Mal · 4 Personen sprechen darüber. Boutique en ligne de jeux de société - Par des Joueurs, pour les joueurs !
you can check in the facebook debugger same thing happen
it seems like a cache thing but it is strange in this context that a cache play a role in this.. no ?
Also i found that facebook give this "image" when they put the "blank" image
https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php...PAXP-deijE.gif
(and yes OG is active and no plugins messing around)
Thanks for the help !

Thank you for your reply and this feedback.
Also, thank you for providing the shared URLs.
I checked your post and the implemented Open Graph tags seem to be currently implemented.
Please note that this case seems to be an issue caused by your active optimization settings in relation to your cache configuration.
Blog2Social has one option for caching in the post template settings which you could try to use.
Instant Caching for Link Posts
Please enable this feature, if you are using varnish caching (HTTP accelerator to relieve your website). Blog2Social will add a "no-cache=1" parameter to the post URL of your link posts to ensure that the network always pulls the current meta data of your blog post.
Please keep in mind that already shared post are already cached on social media networks like Facebook. As this will cause showing the old preview it is important to understand that this likely will take some time to take effect as Facebook needs to renew this cache in their own defined timeframe for this.
In case sharing a new post also has the same behavior I would suggest disabling your caching configuration and retest the process.
As this is the environmental configuration of WordPress I would suggest reaching out to your hosting provider to have this case checked and adjusted for you as this is out of scope of the general Blog2Social plugin support.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards
Alexander
