  • Auto-Post not working in Facebook / Facebook Group

    Hi there,
I am currently testing the business version (FREE-TRIAL (Business).
I have successfully connected B2S with facebook (profile and groups). manual posts work fine (in profile and groups) but when I switch on automatic posts (manually published by editors) they are not published. And I really do not understand why:

If I look into "Networks" I see that profile and group are also correctly connected to "Mein Profil".

I really have no idea what's the issue here.

    Hello,

Thank you so much for reaching out and thanks for describing your request.

I think there is a little misunderstanding.

Every WordPress user can connect their own social media networks in Blog2Social and also can configure most of the settings individually.
The Auto-Poster feature will automatically fetch your new or updated posts depending on your configuration and publish them.

This only applies to your own WordPress user account.

If you want other WordPress users that act as authors to be able to use this premium feature you need to activate these users with your premium license key. These users need to connect the same social media networks in their networks overview and configure similar Auto-Poster settings, if they should automatically publish to your social media networks as well.

With the business license of Blog2Social you can assign specific social media networks to other WordPress users that are activated with the same license key. You can also choose to assign your Auto-Poster configuration as well as the specified social media networks collection as part of the extended team manager function in Blog2Social.

The following step-by-step guide will show you how to perform these steps in Blog2Social:

User management: How to assign license keys and social media accounts to other users (Sections: “Activate Blog2Social Premium for multiple users by assigning your license key (Business version)” and “Assign Social Media Accounts to other users (Business version)”

How do I auto-post and auto-schedule blog posts on social media with the Social Media Auto-Poster? (Section: Transfer your Auto-Poster settings to other users (Business))

Please test these features and feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions about Blog2Social.
I will gladly support you further.

    Best regards
    Alexander

      Thanks for you reply.
Sounds like a bit of a pain in the ass. It would be way more convenient if it had not to be enabled for every user. Especially since many authors/editors on Wordpress are blocked from accessing plugins.

        Hello,

Thank you for your reply and this feedback.

As Blog2Social works user-based this process is required to activate other WordPress user and grant them with the access to premium features and functions in Blog2Social.

With the advanced team management functions you can then assign specific social media networks and or your configured auto-poster configuration along with your networks and post template settings.

There is no automatic way to perform this process. Also the regular usage of a WordPress environment is not restricted to allow authors using specific plugins.
You can find plugins in the plugin responsive that allow you to restrict specific plugins or settings for other WordPress users without blocking the general access.
As this is depending on your individual configuration this is nothing that can be changed within Blog2SOcial.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions about Blog2Social.

I will gladly support you further.

        Best regards
        Alexander
