A post I shared to Facebook shows a 403 error. The title and excerpt show, but not the image, and clicking on the link actually does led to the post. I checked the source and the OG meta does include the image url and size. Here is a screenshot of how the post appears in Facebook:

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
There can be several reasons for this issue. Problems with images and link previews are often caused by missing or conflicting metadata, such as Open Graph tags. Since Blog2Social only shares the link to your post, social media platforms like Facebook rely entirely on your website’s source code to generate the preview.
After that, Facebook tries to fetch the necessary information (“og:image” and “og:description”) from your links source code. This guide provides further instructions:
Why is my image not displayed in my social media posts?
When checking your link with the Facebook Sharing Debugger, I received the following result (see attached screenshot), which needs to be resolved so that Facebook can access your data and display it correctly:
Bad Response Code
URL returned a bad HTTP response code.
This response code could be due to a robots.txt block. Please allowlist facebookexternalhit on your sites robots.txt config to utilize Facebook scraping
Feel free to let us know if you have further questions.
Best regards
Benedikt
