Why Events from wordpress are posted as regular posts, not as events on Facebook ?

I am evaluating the plugin for our needs.

Mostly for events & posts, solely for Facebook (a page, not a profile)

Posts seems to be OK.

I was expecting the events to be added as events under our Facebook page, unfortunately it seems they are added as regular posts under FB. Is that normal ??
