Facebook showing page not found for link?

Just recently all of our posts to multiple FB pages are showing a page not found for the link.

The content/excerpt of the post appears, as does an image from our site (not the featured image), and this text:

reefs.com
Page Not Found - Reefs.com
No Results FoundThe page you requested could not be found. Try refining your search, or use the navigation above to locate the post.

Please let us know how to resolve this issue.

Thank you for reaching out. Did you post the link before it was published on WordPress? Please keep in mind that WordPress only shows the article when it is published and someone calls it.

I'm not sure what you mean. The link is shared to FB automatically via your software when a post is published.

Please help, we have to get this resolved!

Hi, I have the same error.. We can load a new blog, and it loads to facebook, but the page link at the bottom of the post is "page not found". However clicking the link takes you to the blog post just fine. It seems that the link description is not working. Any ideas?

There can be various reasons for this. Issues with link descriptions and images are often caused by missing or conflicting metadata (Open Graph Tags). Facebook will always display the information of your website’s source code since Blog2Social just sends your link towards Facebook.

After that, Facebook tries to fetch the necessary information (“og:description” and “og:image”) from your links source code. For example, if there are different open graph tags in your source code or if your post was not available on your website at the time of publishing, this could cause issues. Please ensure that you are using only one plugin to set your metadata, that your security plugins are not set too strictly and that your post / website is available so it can be properly fetched by Facebook.
