      Hi

I mean how to add a canonical tag when posting wordpress posts using blog2social to blogger.com please?
For example, when you post to medium, it automatically adds a canonical link to the original post on my blog.
This is the part that talks about it in the plugin description:

"* Medium – Post to your blog post with canonical-backlinks to your original post (Free)
      * Tumblr – Post to your blog post with canonical-backlinks to your original post (Free)
      * Torial – Post to your blog post with canonical-backlinks to your original post (Free)
      * Diigo – Post a bookmark to your account (Free)
      * Bloglovin – Post to your blog post with canonical-backlinks to your original post (Free)
      * Telegram – Post to your Telegram groups and Telegram channels (Business)
      * Blogger.com – Post to your blog post with canonical-backlinks to your original post (Premium)"

      Many thanks!

        Hello,

        Thanks for your reply.

When posting on Blogger, Blog2Social automatically adds your link to your website at the end of your post.

Some networks, like Medium, are very strict when it comes to blog posts which are published there. For instance they do not like double posts or posting content to drive traffic to, or increase the search rankings of, an external site. Please have a look into the Medium community rules which contains more information:
Medium is an open platform that exists to share ideas and perspectives from the world’s most insightful writers, thinkers, and storytellers. We welcome thoughtful and civil discussion from a broad…

However, in this case Blog2Social puts a canonical backlink in the source code of the medium post when posting which is allowed. Your readers don't see it (unless they search in the source code), but Google can still link the post to the blog post, even if it's not very similar anymore.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

        Best regards

        Benedikt
