  • Discord - The Network Could Not Publish Your Post

just bought blog2social hoping for a quick and easy turnkey solution to crosspost to Discord from a wordpress blog. After setting up, I'm getting the following error trying to share a post.

As per the guide, I've tried re-authorizing my account and removing and re-adding my discord account in the blog2social plugin with no luck. The blog2social bot is a member of the discord server and appears to have all the permissions, including posting, that all member have. Can you help me identify what the issue is?

In case it's a clue, I noticed on the post page after clicking 'share on social media' there's a part of the UI that has a green checkmark next to 'network connected' and then red symbols next to 'requires image' and 'refresh authorization'. It wasn't clear to me what this was communicating and whether or what I should or could do about it. If those symbols are a key describing what the symbol next to the account means it might be more intuitive if that info was dynamic only showing the relevant state/s or just rollover text. In its current form it looks like it's status of some kind.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please be so kind as to send me a screenshot of your notification details regarding this post so I can take a closer look. You’ll find your them here:
“Social Media Posts” -> “Notifications” -> “Details”

Rest assured, your second screenshot just displays the explanations for the various symbols.

I’m looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

          Hello,

          Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, Discord does not provide much details on this error. Therefore, we’ve implemented extended logs.
Please be so kind as to try once again sharing a post on Discord and send me another screenshot of your notification details so we can further investigate this behavior.

          Best regards

          Benedikt

Thank you. Is there something I need to do to enable extended logs? The log of the share attempt just now doesn't contain any new information.Click image for larger version
