  • Bluesky link posts adding domain before actual URL

    Hi all,

About a day or two ago, Bluesky link posts stopped working properly. My website's domain has been inserted before the actual link.

    Example of working link: https://bsky.app/profile/stevivor.co.../3lr5odfpisy2q
    Example of broken link: https://bsky.app/profile/stevivor.co.../3lrc3dejdkr2b

At closer inspection, it posts the correct link, but the link card is the bit impacted.

I've gone and reset the network but to no avail.

    Any fix for this issue?

    Cheers!

    Hello Steve,

    Thanks for reaching out.

May I ask you if you’re using the latest version 8.4.5 of Blog2Social on your website? Kindly check this here: “Plugins” -> “Installed Plugins”.
If you’re still facing issues afterwards, please also attach a screenshot of your Bluesky post templates so I can take a closer look.

Could you clarify what you mean by “At closer inspection, it posts the correct link, but the link card is the bit impacted”?

    Best regards

    Benedikt

I have the same issue and my plugin is up to date.

What he's saying is that the site card itself links to an invalid URL.

Attachment Snap704.jpg links to https://stevivor.com/reviews/nintend...ndheld-gaming/, while attachment Snap705.jpg links to https://stevivor.comhttps//stevivor....usive-spinoff/. Obviously the latter means the user who clicks on it gets a 404.

          Thank you.

First, thanks to all who've assisted in this thread -- I had notifications on, but never received any.

What everyone is saying is correct. I can now confirm I'm on 8.4.6 and the issue remains -- the same issue encountered by many.

CAM has summarised the issue in the most efficient manner. I attach two additional images: backend shows the Blog2Social interface (which appears correct), and frontend shows the incorrect output (with the additional domain ahead of the proper URL).
