Slow response

While the plugin is operating correctly, when it is activated my site slows to a crawl. Without the plugin active, GTMetrix shows the response to be a "B" rating with a performance of 80%. Without changing anything else, when the B2S plugin is activated it drops to a "D" rating with a performance of 51%. As a result I need to deactivate the plugin as I can't have the site perform so slowly.
