Hi! I'm using B2S 8.6.0. I have Featured Images in my blog posts. When I go to the B2S screen, the Featured Image shows as the image that will be posted. But when I share the blogs to Bluesky and Facebook, no image comes through, just the text and link. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

Hello Barry,
Thanks for getting in touch.
There are a few possible reasons why this might happen. If images aren’t displaying correctly, it’s often due to missing or conflicting metadata (such as Open Graph tags). Please note that Blog2Social only shares your link and Facebook or Bluesky generate the preview directly from your website’s source code.
They look for the “og:image” tag to create the link preview. To ensure they can access the correct information, here are a few helpful tips:
-Use only one plugin to manage your metadata.
-Review your security settings, as certain plugins or firewalls might prevent Facebook from accessing your content.
-Make sure your image meets the size and format requirements of the respective network so it loads correctly.
I’ve also attached some useful guides that walk you through these steps in more detail:
Why is my image not displayed in my social media posts?
What are open graph tags and what do I use them for?
Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards

Hi! Thanks again for your help. I've done some more investigation and troubleshooting. My open graph tags SHOULD be fine, since the images are showing up in the B2S page, as shown on one of the pages you linked to. Here's a screenshot of one of mine, showing the image is loaded and available.
In my .htaccess, I have some "RewriteEngine On" lines, but none in conjunction with the RewriteRules listed on https://www.blog2social.com/en/faq/i...=58&artlang=en.
The Troubleshooting tool reports that my site is updated. It shows conflicts with Really Simple Security and Sucuri Monitoring, BUT when I disabled those two plugins as an experiment, the images still don't show up on Bluesky or FB. So while I'm working on figuring out those conflicts, the fact remains that those plugins don't seem to be the problem. I've gone as far as I can. Any other ideas?

Hello Barry,
Thank you for your response.
In the source code of your post, I’m not seeing any Open Graph tags. This is likely why no image is being displayed on your social networks. Please make sure that the Open Graph tags are present in the source code and that the correct image is specified as “og:image”, so it can be recognized by the networks. Blog2Social only shares the link to your post, everything else is handled by the respective network.
Kindly review the steps in the following guides:
Why is my image not displayed in my social media posts?
What are open graph tags and what do I use them for?
The information shown in the troubleshooting tool will most likely not be helpful in this case, as it only relates to the general functionality of Blog2Social on your website. It lists plugins that could cause general issues depending on their settings, but it cannot check for missing or conflicting Open Graph tags.
Best regards
Benedikt

Hey, I think I got it working. Just FYI, the instructions at https://premiumwpsupport.com/how-to-...uide/#section3 were really helpful! And I was thinking that it might be cool if there was a way to add a test to the Troubleshooting Tool that could report whether or not there's OG Tag support in functions.php. Might cut down on some confusion and make your workload a little lighter.
Thanks for your help!

Hello Barry,
Thanks for your feedback.
There are several ways to add Open Graph tags. In most cases, this is handled by plugins (such as Yoast SEO). You can also enable this directly in the Blog2Social settings ("Settings" -> "Social Meta Data") so that Blog2Social will set the Open Graph tags for you. This is exactly what’s described in the guide I sent you.
Thank you as well for your suggestion. If this is technically feasible, we will include it in the Troubleshooting Tool in the future.
If you are happy with my support and with Blog2Social, we'd be thrilled if you left us a 5-star-rating on WordPress.
Best regards
Benedikt
