Previews do not represent what social media posts look like whatsoever

None of the previews within the plug represent a real preview on what the actual post will look like once published. Practically ever part of the preview is incorrect ranging from preview showing only link at the bottom of the Facebook post, but when posted its actually a title and a portion of the post content.

I think there is a little misunderstanding. The preview that is visible inside the network post templates is no live preview. It is a visual example of your template configuration based on a previously shared post.

The preview that is shown before sharing a post to the specific network selection you have chosen will contain a live preview of your posts that is also reflecting your post template configuration if there are any settings configured and saved.
