Quick Posting

I would like to create quick social media posts but Not from a "post".

Is there a quick post feature where I can input text,. links, videos, and/or images and schedule when to post it?

Alternately, has anyone accomplished this by creating a custom post type? Is this a viable method of sending quick posts?

I must be missing something. We have this huge content management system and I find it extremely difficult to send social media configured posts quickly and easily. There are solutions (plugins, companies...) that will post from posts and pages; however, creating "quick" posts and schedule them seems non-existent.

Any ideas?

Yes, you are correct the direct creation of a social media post created in Blog2Social is created in the standard post type from WordPress.
