  • delete entry in Blog2Social when deleted in social network

In early implementation I was playing around with Blog2Social and shared to posts to Facebook. Later I deleted those in Facebook. But they still show up in Blog2Social which is especially annoying in the publishing calendar. Is there a way to delete or at least hide posts that were removed in the target network in Blog2Social?

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and thanks for describing your request.

Yes, you can easily do this by removing these posts from the reporting in Blog2Social.

You can find it by following this path:
Your WordPress installation -> Blog2Social -> Site & Blog Content -> Shared Posts -> Details -> Delete from reporting

Please let me know if you have any other questions about Blog2Social.

If you like Blog2Social and our support, we would be very happy about a 5-star rating on WordPress.org.

I already tried this but was under the impression that this functionality is for deleting the post in the target network (also). When trying I get the prompt to upgrade to a paid version of Blog2Social. Is this really intentional to require the paid version to delete something (locally only)?

        Hello,

Thank you for your reply and thanks for your feedback.

Yes, this is correct. Deleting already shared posts from the Blog2Social reporting is a Premium feature.
You can always read more in detail about all other included features and functions at: https://www.blog2social.com/en/pricing/

Please note that deleting a post from the targeted networks within Blog2Social would require an ongoing synchronization/exchange via an API.

In general, this is not offered by social media network APIs therefore you can delete the posts from the reporting in Blog2Social.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about Blog2Social.

I will gladly support you further.

If you like Blog2Social and our support, we would be very happy about a 5-star rating on WordPress.org.
