  • twice or nothing

    Hello,

unfortunately, I have some difficulties with the automatic sharing of posts. The usage is very confusing to me and I don't really get along with it ...

Even if automatic posting is disabled, the sidebar in the editor still says that the post has already been shared (see screenshot) - which in fact is not true. When I then share the post manually, it’s been shared twice in every channel.

It's similar when automatic posting is active, and I disable it for a single post before it is published: It is still automatically shared, so the posts are then shared twice, i.e. once automatically and once from my manual sharing.

What settings do I need to make so that posts are generally shared automatically, but I can disable automatic posting on a case-by-case basis to manually adjust the content first?

And why is it not possible to customize the content for sharing BEFORE the post is published or scheduled? That would be much easier instead of having to disable automatic sharing every time I want to make adjustments first (besides the describes double-posting issue above).

Thanks a lot and best regards
    Franz

    Hello Franz,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please be so kind as to send me a screenshot of your auto-post settings so I can take a closer look.

And why is it not possible to customize the content for sharing BEFORE the post is published or scheduled? That would be much easier instead of having to disable automatic sharing every time I want to make adjustments first (besides the describes double-posting issue above).
Of course, you can customize the content before sharing. There are various options for this.
For example, you can edit your post templates in general if you want to set up a unique structure for your content on each of your social media networks.
How to use post templates for social media posts?
Wie kann ich Social-Media-Beitragsvorlagen für meine Social-Media-Posts nutzen?

You also can click on “Social Media Posts anpassen & planen” in your screenshot to edit your post.
In addition, you can click on “Social Media Posts->auf Social Media teilen” to edit and schedule your content.

I’m looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards

    Benedikt

      Hallo Benedikt,

vielen Dank soweit.

        Benedikt
