  • Featured Image is incorrect in Twitter

    Hi Alexander and the team

A while back, when I was new to Blog2Social, you helped me configure things for my Blog. The original post is at https://community.blog2social.com/fo...page2#post6521.

I haven't posted much since then, but when I did, yesterday, everything was fine across my SM channels except Twitter. In spite of the preview within Blog2Social showing the correct Featured Image (as set within the WP Post), when I posted, Twitter showed the image for my website (my cartoon face) rather than the selected Featured Image. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I had to delete the Post and post manually (and then the Featured Image showed fine). Are there any logs or other information I can send you to try and troubleshoot this? Obviously, I can't point you to the actual Post as I has to delete that. The Site is StevePalmerTheBlogger.com. Any advice appreciated. Thanks, Steve

    Hello Steve,

Thank you for reaching out and thanks for describing your request.
I think there is a little misunderstanding.

I checked your screenshot and noticed that you wanted to share a Link-Post on Twitter.

    Please note:
For the selected "link post" post format, there is no option to change the post image. The image is automatically generated from the og:image / twitter:image tags.

The following guide will take you step-by-step through the process of setting up Open Graph tags in Blog2Social:
    What are Twitter Cards?

What are open graph tags and what do I use them for?
Troubleshooting: Checklist and solutions for setting Open Graph Tags

Since in the whole process, no bug or error could be reproduced in Blog2Social in this regard this is likely a question of the correct configuration.

Please be so kind as to adjust this or use the image-post format instead.
    Thank you for your understadning.

    Best regards
    Alexander
