  • Post shared on Tumblr does not have an image.

    Hi,

    I have a post at https://www.datanumen.com/blogs/5-wa...ur-lost-files/

You can see there is an image in the post.

However, when I share it to Tumblr, the image does not appear, see below:

    What is the problem? Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I think the issue of a missing image in your shared post on Tumblr is related to the missing image file inside the featured image section of your WordPress post.

Have you checked, if you see the image that should be shared with your post in the post preview section of Blog2Social?

To display an image, it is also important to meet the image size requirement of the networks.

Please have a look at the following guide about sharing images on social media at:

How to share individual images on social media?

The answer on the other community topic you asked is likely related to this answer: https://community.blog2social.com/fo...n-post#post643

Please let me know if you have any other questions about Blog2Social.

    Best regards

    Alexander

      Hi,

I check the preview of the post in Blog2Social, as below:

Name:	Tumblr.png
Views:	107
Size:	32.5 KB
ID:	675

I seems, that you does not design a place for the image.

I notice there is a similar post from another user https://community.blog2social.com/fo...-image-missing

        Hello,

        Thank you for your reply.

There are multiple reasons that could cause this issue.
        1. Did you set up an image as a featured image inside the WordPress post you like to share?
        2. Did you update the Blog2Social Plugin to the latest release 6.4.1?

Please check both possibilities and let me know afterwards if you are able to see the post image in the preview.

It should look like this for example:

I am looking forward to your reply.

        Best regards

          Hi,

Thank you. After setting up the featured image for my post, then image will appear in Tumblr post. However, it is a bit inconvenient since most of my posts do not set a featured image. So is it possible for your system to take the first image in the post if it does not have a featured image?

          Thanks
