  • Showing incorrect images of auto post on facebook

    Hello team,

I am auto posting the imported contents on my facebook page.
Sometimes, it's showing incorrect images in the posts.
    E.g.
<meta property="og:url" content="https://findcheap.com.au/san-remo-ri...ZWNydd9lAPkhOY"> is the actual image that has been imported but it shows https://external-syd2-1.xx.fbcdn.net...E9g52iXwabTu0G on facebook page post.

Please have a look on this issue and suggest solution for the same.

    Thanks!

        Hello,

        Thanks for reaching out.

There can be various reasons for this.
In general, issues with images are often caused by missing or conflicting metadata (Open Graph Tags). The social media and Blog2Social will always display the information they find in the source code of your post on your website. The following guides show you exactly how to solve this:
What are open graph tags and what do I use them for?
Troubleshooting: Checklist and solutions for setting Open Graph Tags
Why is my image not displayed in my social media posts?

Please be so kind as to make sure:
        1) to use only one plugin for setting your metadata / open graph tags so the social networks can retrieve your data correctly.
        2) to check your security settings / plugins so there’s no hotlink protection since otherwise the social media networks cannot display your images.

Please let me know if it worked out or if you have further questions.

        Best regards

        Benedikt
