  • I just buy SMART licence and Ima confused.

I have bought a smart license and did the settings on my WordPress for Blog2Social plugin as administrator including creating networks .. Etc.
Now, my writer is responsible for Writing posts.
Is it possible to use auto-share, so once I publish and validate "my writer" posts, they got shared automatically to my social set in networks ?

    Hi aicomparator ,

Thank you for your message and for choosing Blog2Social!

Yes, it is indeed possible to set up auto-sharing for posts written by your writer. Here's how you can ensure that posts get automatically shared to your social networks once you publish and validate them:
    1. Correct User Setup: Since you have set up the Blog2Social plugin and created the networks as an administrator, the auto-posting feature should work for posts published by any user with sufficient permissions. However, it's crucial that the auto-post feature is activated for the correct user. This means that when your writer publishes a post, it should be the same user that has activated the auto poster and connected the networks linked to the network profiles you’ve set up.
    2. Auto-Post Activation: When you or your writer publish a post, make sure that the auto-post function is activated. You can find this option in the Blog2Social section on the right-hand menu in WordPress when editing a post. Ensure that the correct social media profiles are selected in the auto-poster settings. Once activated, the article will automatically be shared on your configured social media networks.
    3. User Permissions: Ensure that your writer has the necessary permissions in WordPress to use the Blog2Social features. If they don’t have the required permissions, they might not be able to use the auto-share feature effectively.
    4. Additional Resources: For more detailed instructions on how to set up and use the auto-post and auto-schedule features, you can refer to our FAQ guide: How do I auto-post and auto-schedule blog posts on social media with the social media auto-poster?.

      Thanks for answer,
I have followed above steps, but still auto-post not working for below scenario, let me know if it should work or it is not allowed by design, so I stop wasting time tryng to make it work.

As administrator, I installed the Blog2Social plugin, put SMART license, configured it , create networks and set properly auto-posts to be immediately shared.
My writer has "contributor" wordpress privileges, he is just able to create new posts ( not to publish them ).
Then, me as administrator, I check the post, then publish it - the posts still having my writer as author.
Auto-post is not sharing this published post to social media.

        Hello,
it should work. Just make sure that the auto poster feature on the right hand side of the Wordpress article preview is activated before you publish the post. It should look like in the screenshot above. Please make sure, you have selected the network collection where your networks are. Please let me know if it worked.

        Best regards
        Philippe
